Hey everyone,
It sounds like everything is going well for everyone which is great. I had a good week but it has been busy. I have just been trying to stay focused on my schooling. I need to do a better job of studying for some of my classes. I hopefully can buckled down a little more and not procrastinate. As Mom and Dad said we went to that recognition night thing. It was really good. It really made me glad that I have earned both awards and I know I couldn't have done with out all of your help, so thank you. I had my last interview with the Bishop and Stake President. It was really good and I enjoyed both of them. President Bowen's interview was amazing and I could really feel the spirit and so could he. We both cried together a little bit haha but it was good. I can turn my papers in on the 9th of March so almost a week. I am way excited and can't wait to find out. I have been busy with my calling and playing on this basketball team too. This week we had stake conference here at my BYUI ward and Elder Walker of the Seventy came and spoke to us and he did a great job. Because of my calling I was able to go to the Leadership trainging meeting they had on Sunday morning before the main session and he spoke there too. It was really great and the spirit was really strong. Well that has been my week pretty much. Bill I can't believe you are going to get married. I still need to change my availability date for it, so I'll get that done. Ken sounds like things are going great for you. You sound like you are a business man already. That is sweet you are going to run that half marathon. Janaye I don't know really what to tell you. I think you would enjoy sticking with basketball because your friends would be playing it with you. I remember my junior year in football wasn't the greatest because I was promised certain things by coaches and they didn't honor their words. My senior year was amazing though and I am glad I stuck through it all. It is up to you though. You will be in my prayers. Dad congrats on getting that lease done. That is awesome. I think we can all see that our family has been really blessed. Mom you sound great and busy like usual. You are the greatest person ever I love you and miss you. Well I love you all and hope you have a great week. lllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllooooooooovvvvvvvvvvvvvvvveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Busy Week
Last week was a great week but a busy one. Wednesday we had a Stake Relief Society Conference. During the day before that, the stake had a humanitarian project tying quilts. They were able to tie 9 quilts. I cam and helped for the last hour and a half because I had to work that day. It was a worthwhile project. That night they had 3 generations speak, Molly George (a grand daughter), Kelly George (a daughter), and then the Grandmother ( I can't remember her name). They spoke on Relief Society and how it had influenced their lives and Molly spoke on how sisters in Relief Society had influenced her and how she looked forward to becoming a Relief Society member. President Bowen was the concluding speaker. He spoke of the Holy Ghost and how we can get that into our lives all the time and how the Spirit can influence us, our families and empower us to face anything in this life. i am going to miss him as stake president. He will be a great mission president.
Thursday I went to Skyline's Boys basketball game and they won. Then Friday we went to the IF Symphony to watch Barb play and the group Rockappella sing. They were the group that did "Where in the world is Carmen San Diego?" Do you remember them boys? They were awesome.
Saturday I was up at BYU-I most of the day listening to Julie Beck. She did a women's conference in the morning and a leadership training in the afternoon. She was wonderful. She basically did not have a prepared text, but she had people ask questions and she answered them. She is powerful and the Relief Society is in good hands. The leadership training had priesthood in it as well. She let us ask about questions with the new handbook and it was very enlightening.
That night the stake did a dinner to recognize young men who had received Duty to God or their Eagle in the last year. We went with Steven because he had received both. It was a nice evening.
Steven had his last interview with the Bishop and President Bowen and Janaye had her interview to receive her Young Womanhood Recognition Award next Tuesday March 8. You are all invited.
We are so proud of all of you and you are doing great things. Thanks for being who you are.
Love, Mom

Bill's Week
I had a really great week overall, but had a few hiccups in between. School is going really well. I need to be a bit more disciplined with studying though. I tend to leave some things to the last minute. Its a bad habit that I need to get rid of. I got sick in the middle of the week but am starting to pull out of it. Now I mostly have a sore throat so its getting better. In fact, I'm chugging down one of mom's hot lemonades as we speak before I go to bed.
Morgan and I are doing really well. She talked to her mom this week and filled her in on where our relationship is at. Her mom was excited and a little surprised but totally supports her. I'm excited for the next couple of weeks. We will probably go looking around for rings this next weekend. I'm not planning on buying one real soon, but want to get an idea of styles and prices. I get sick sometimes thinking about the expenses. I'm sure it will all work out though.
The cougs are playing amazing. Its an exciting time to be at BYU. Tomorrow will be interesting to see where we stand in the rankings. Stoove, I hope that school is going well for you. Congrats on your papers, I can't wait to hear about when the call comes! Janaye, glad to know that you are doing well. I can relate to what you are feeling about basketball. I had the same feelings and decided not to play my junior or senior season. Honestly, I have a few regrets about it. Although at the time I enjoyed not going to practice and having to stress about it all, I look back and wish that I would have enjoyed that experience. I think that I related our team not being successful to me not having fun. Its all about what you make of it. That being said, you have to follow your heart. Pray about it and think it over. You'll know what the best choice for you is. Love you girl. Mom and Dad, it was great to talk to you this week. Thanks for all that you do! Ken, I see you pretty often and talk to you daily, but you know I love you too.
Have a great week!
Bill
Ken's Week
Hey guys,
Glad you are all doing well. Things for me have been good. I have been extremely busy with a million different things. Between work, some consulting projects I've been doing, school, sports, church, running, and a social life I have been swamped. I have felt lately like I really need to drop a couple of things so I can give 100% to a few things rather than 60% to many things. Hopefully this week I can get some of those issues figured out.
I am in a cool internship class this semester where we are interviewing some of Utah's top entrepreneurs and this week I interviewed a guy name Jesse Stay. He is an expert on social media and has written several books. He has his own business and has recently begun working for the church doing most of their social media stuff. It was really interesting to talk with him and a great opportunity to network with someone like him.
I have also been starting my own e-commerce web site. It's kind of a long story but I am in this web site competition where the goal is to build your site and see who can get the most traffic to the site. It is actually a fairly easy and good way to make quite a bit of money if you are good at it. Even if the monetary side of things doesn't work out, it is a great skill to know. I am excited about that opportunity.
I have been running a lot still. I did a 10 miler this Saturday which was good. My joints are pretty sore but it felt really good. I also signed up for the Salt Lake City half-marathon on April 16. You guys should come watch if you can. I am excited for it and am really enjoying running. I've lost some weight and am feeling good about getting back into shape. I also really love the mental aspect of it. It requires a lot of mental toughness and I love the feeling of telling myself I am going to run a certain distance and then pushing myself to go just a little bit farther and faster than I had originally plan. It feels good to have this discipline.
The social life is going fairly well too. I have been on a lot of dates lately and have 2 or 3 planned in the next little bit. Nothing too serious with any one girl but there are a couple that I'm interested in. We'll see how it goes. The dating game is sometimes a frustrating process but I try to enjoy it as much as I can.
I sure love you all and am glad that you are happy and healthy. Thanks for being so great. Stoove, congrats on getting ready to turn your papers in. That is awesome! We're all proud of you. Love you all and hope that you have a great week!
Ken
This week has been pretty good! I finally met with the bishop to make it official that I am receiving my personal progress award! I will get it on march 8th! I know you probably can't come but I wanted to let you guys know! The decision that dad is talking about is whether I want to play basketball next year. Now I know you all are probably going are you serious but I have a lot of reasons but the main is that
I didn't love it this year and didn't have fun. It's really hard for me and I am trying to do what's best for me! I could use opinions from you guys! That's basically all that is really happening for me this week! I love you all!

Banner day in the Frei home
Hello Family!
I'm feeling so blessed today. Last night Mom, Kirk, and I went to a stake recognition night where they honored the young men who earned their Eagle and/or Duty to God this past year. It was a nice dinner and they put together a video containing several photos of each young man. Kirk was honored for both. This morning, Steven had his final mission interviews with Bishop Johnson and President Bowen. When he came home, before heading to Rexburg for stake conference, he was overflowing with the spirit. I am so grateful for him and the wonderful young man and friend he is to me. He will be turning in his papers in the next few weeks.
Janaye met with the bishop for her final interview before receiving her Young Woman Recognition Award. I am so proud of her. She is not only fun and full of life, but she is also a young woman of spiritual strength and possesses strong values she lives by. I hope will share some of the decisions she is trying to make and you all will be respectful and supportive of her.
Ken and Bill are such strengths to me. I am so grateful for the fine sons and examples you are to me. Not quite sure why Father blessed us with such fine kids, but we'll take it!
We'll be on Ramen noodles for a few weeks, but inked a big lease on a 17,000 square foot building downtown that will be coming through soon.
I love you all, and pray for you individually each day that Father will bless you in your lives with the things you most need.
Have a great week.
Love,
Dad

Feeling Left Out
Dear Family,
I was the only one not to post anything so I didn't want to be left out. Dad and I went out on a date with Steve Keim and his wife Bonnie on Friday. We went to Texas Roadhouse and then to the movie True Grit. Dad and I never saw the original True Grit with John Wayne so we didn't know what to expect. It was pretty good but a little raw in a few places. When we got home the original was on T.V. so we watched that until the end. Some things were similar but you could tell they modernized this latest version. It was a good film and it is up for several academy awards. After the movie we went to this yogurt place called Orange Leaf. It is kind of self serve and they charge you by the weight. They have all kinds of toppings and flavors and the yogurt was so good. Maybe you guys have heard of the franchise before but I never had.
We enjoyed Sunday dinner with 4 of Steven's roommates and Steven. They are all such good kids. Steven is blessed to have 5 returned missionaries for roommates and such good examples. We had them all share an experience from their mission that was a learning experience, or a special spiritual experience, or a turning point in their mission. They all had some great things to share. Steven seems to fit in just fine with all those guys.
This week I have a scripture tote sewing workshop and humanitarian day for Relief Society and I am giving the lesson this Sunday in Relief Society. My topic is Love so I am focusing on different themes i.e. Love in the home, Love of self, Love of your neighbor (Specifically missionary work-Doctrine of Inclusion), Love of Spouse, and Love of God. We will see how it all goes.
I need to get off because we are getting ready for Tom Mannschreck to visit today. It is always a little stressful when he comes to town. He is just like an Everready Bunny.
Love you all,
Mom
